Simon Nunn is a filmmaker based in Norfolk. His work is primarily concerned with landscape, alienation and phantasmagoria.

His films have been exhibited at festivals and gallery's worldwide, including the British Film Institute Southbank, The Institute of Contemporary Arts London, the Leeds International Film Festival, Ty Pawb Open in Wales, the Hong Kong Film Festival, Berlin British Film Festival, Skippings Gallery Great Yarmouth, the Lisbon International Film Festival, Babylon Arts Centre Ely, the Cambridge Film Festival and the Emergent Art Space in San Francisco.

 

He has received awards such as National Lottery Heritage Funding, the Babylon ARTS Commission, Arts Project Fund from the Norfolk County Council and won the Special Mention Award from Emergent Art Space.

 

Outside of his practice as an artist Simon co-curates the periodical journal EAVA Zine (2020), has been the director of Norwich Psych Fest music festival (2021-2023) as well and co-founding the cult photography blog PUS-EYE (2007-2009).
